Tjakko Kleinhuis has 12 years experience in software development in both embedded systems as well as desktop applications. In this period of time he found the human and process aspects of the profession to be crucial for the success of technical projects. In the past 6 years he has seen agile techniques improve the success rates of individuals and projects. He has applied agile in his day-to-day practice as a developer, but also as a project leader.
He has attended XP conferences in the Benelux, the United Kingdom and the USA, and has co-tutored workshops on conferences as well as for in-company training. These include "Tracer Bullets" (Agile 2006, Minneapolis) and "Haste makes Waste" (XPDays Benelux 2006). Both workshops were co-tutored with Rob Westgeest.
