In this session participants will learn about the different ways to introduce Agile into their organization, with their pros and cons. They will be able to share their experiences and learn from other participants. After this session, participants will be better able to introduce agile in a way that fits their own situation best.

Intended audience and prerequisites

Anyone who has introduced Agile into their organization, or is considering to do so.

Contents:

You are about to introduce Agile into your organization. How are you going to do this? Top-down? Bottom-up? Will you start with the engineering practices, with iterative development, or will you do everything at once?

What is the best way to do this?

In this session we will discover that there are many ways to introduce Agile. We will discuss the 6 adoption patterns defined by Mike Cohn, and we will learn from each other’s experience.  After this session, you will know that there are many good ways to introduce agile. But the best way for you is...  Come to the session and find out!

Format and length: 60 minutes,  a short talk about my own experience, followed by lots of group discussions
